How we research
Platform facts in our guides, such as encoder settings, stream key steps and streaming limits, come from each platform’s own help center and developer documentation.
Competitor facts in our comparisons, such as plans, prices, channel limits and free-plan terms, are checked against the provider’s official pricing and help pages. Each comparison states the date those facts were checked.
Facts about Multistream Platform itself come from our own pricing and features pages.
How we cite sources
Each guide ends with a list of the official sources it relies on, linked so you can check them yourself. Comparisons link to the provider’s own pages for the facts they state.
How we write comparisons
We make Multistream Platform, so our comparisons are written by one of the services being compared. Each comparison states that we are not affiliated with the other providers it names.
We do not publish ratings, star scores or rankings. Comparisons set out what each service publishes so you can decide what fits your setup.
Our use case pages are labelled as examples: they are illustrative scenarios, not customer stories.
Reviews and updates
Platforms change their prices, limits and documentation often. We review our pages and update them when a platform changes.
The date under each guide’s title shows when its content was last updated, taken from our publishing history.
Who writes and reviews our content
Our guides and comparisons are written and reviewed by Jonathan Reed, Manager at Multistream Platform. His byline and a short bio appear on each of those pages.
Corrections
If you spot something that is wrong or out of date, email Jonathan Reed at Jonathan@multistreamingplatform.com. Tell us the page and, if you can, the official source. We check it against that source and update the page; the updated date on the page changes when we do.
