Our story

Going live on more than one platform used to mean running several encoders, or pushing several copies of the same stream out of one internet connection. Multistream Platform exists to remove that work. You send us one RTMP or SRT stream; our cloud relay delivers it to YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, Kick, TikTok, 40+ platforms and any custom endpoint.

Multistream Platform LLC is headquartered in Anchorage, Alaska, and has been serving streaming clients since 2018. We work with individual creators, esports and gaming organizations, community groups and media teams, and we build for the moment that matters most to all of them: the live broadcast, when there is no second take.

Under the hood

How the relay works

A cloud relay sits between your encoder and the platforms you stream to. Here is what happens from the moment you press Go Live.
01
Ingest at the edge

Your encoder connects to the nearest edge ingest node over RTMP or SRT, using your stream key. SRT is designed to recover from packet loss on unreliable connections.

02
Relay in the cloud

The relay takes your single incoming feed and creates one outgoing stream for each destination you have enabled, so your own computer and connection only carry one stream.

03
Deliver to every destination

Each outgoing stream is pushed to its target: YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, Kick, TikTok, other platforms, or a custom RTMP or SRT endpoint.

04
Monitor, chat and record

While you are live you can watch bitrate and connection health, read chat from several platforms in one window, and archive the broadcast to cloud storage.

Where your stream enters

Edge network

Five edge ingest locations: US East, US West, EU Central, Tokyo and São Paulo.
US East

Edge ingest node in N. Virginia, closest to broadcasters in the eastern United States.

US West

Edge ingest node in Oregon, closest to broadcasters in the western United States.

EU Central

Edge ingest node in Frankfurt, closest to broadcasters in Europe.

Asia Pacific (Tokyo)

Edge ingest node in Tokyo, closest to broadcasters in Japan and East Asia.

Latin America (São Paulo)

Edge ingest node in São Paulo, closest to broadcasters in South America.

Which node should I use?

Pick the location closest to your encoder. Shorter network paths generally mean a steadier connection between you and the relay.
